During the webinar, eight strategies will be presented in developing an upskilling program.
(1) creating personalized learning paths, (2) leveraging data for best results, (3) developing mentorship programs, (4) promoting self-training, (5) making learning a fun experience, (6) boosting employee participation with incentives, (7) asking for feedback, and (8) making learning a part of our organizational culture.
Finally, we will discuss why reskilling is important. There will be a discussion of the benefits of reskilling for both the employer and employee. Steps in developing a reskilling program will be outlined. These include (1) creating a list of potential positions and people that can be relocated to another job, (2) defining who can be included in the program, (3) defining areas for improvement, (4) choosing methods to implement the reskilling program, (5) developing a detailed plan for key roles and positions, (6) defining needed time and resources, (7) negotiating with potential candidates, and (8) launching the reskilling program with room for needed adjustments.
The job market is rapidly changing due to advancements in technology, automation, and the emergence of artificial intelligence. In this webinar, we are going to look at the use of upskilling and reskilling by organizations and the benefits they hold for both the organization and employee. During the presentation, we will look at the importance for employees to learn new skills that will help them perform their current role more effectively and employees that learn new skills for the purpose of taking on another role in the organization.

He has also consulted with local, state, and private employers, government agencies, churches, and nonprofit organizations. Bob has a Ph.D. in Conflict Resolution and a Juris Doctorate degree.
